WELL... We're here.

Hey hey guys, it's Sita.
Just updating y'all (...) on our little trip.
First, an update from Dad that he typed on the plane to Taipei:

"OK so we are 4 hours out of Taipei so far they have fed us:

1. Mixed nuts (actually they were peanuts, little rice crackers, and little dried green peas covered with a breading of some kind seems very popular over here)

2. Supper. The girls had chicken and rice with broccoli and carrots, I had beef (it was chewy), veggies, instant mashed potatoes. Aina slept through it all

3. Noodles

They also played 3 movies, a travel show about Taipei, 3 Donald Duck cartoons, and some Taiwan music show.

The girls managed to sleep through most of it. I got some sleep but it'll catch up with me later.

I've been watching the little progress chart that they show. It tells how high, outside temp (only -52 F, we can handle that), etc. Another thing they show is where the sun is. It's been chasing us ever since we left San Francisco. Kinda funny.

Speaking of Frisco. We made our connecting flight (well duh) with about 2 minutes to spare before they had started boarding. Whew.

Poor Shawn. Aina, the girls, and myself all got seats together in the center section. Shawn is up about 6 rows by himself. Apparently on his right is a woman who doesn't seem to like him and on his left is a guy who really likes him. Lisa says REALLY likes him. Not sure what she means by that but I still feel sorry for the guy.

The next flight won't be as long (this one was 12 hours). The next leg is 8 hours I think. Shawn also go lucky this time. He is sitting just 1 row in front of us, so 1 of us will probably switch with him so he and sit with Lisa on at least 1 leg of the trip."

On the plane to Malaysia: Dad, Mum&I sat by eachother in the four center rows, and Shawn&Lisa got to sit next to eachother by the window. That was a short flight, only about four hours! We arrived at 1:45pm on Thursday. We were picked up by my Aunties (and some cousins and some Uncles...), and brought to Aunty Eton's&Uncle Kim's. Around 5:30pm Kak Kerin took Lisa, Hannah (young cousin) and I to get Saffiyah. Then at 6:30pm with picked up Ayesha. It was very exciting to see my cousins again! I don't know what my parent's did while we were gone.

Anyways. Today we went to Subang Parade (a mall). It was very fun&Shawn got some camera's. We ate ayam (chicken)! Huzzah! And we also exchanged dollars for ringit. :D!

SO... we are at the MSP. Our flight outta here is delayed almost an hour. We will have an hour and a half to get from one gate, get our bags, get boarding passes, and get to the international gate. Gonna be cutting it close. Hope we make it, if we don't? Well 24 hours in SFO? Could be.

So why am I here...

Well I've decieded to start this to keep our friends up to date with our upcoming trip to Malaysia. How updated I'll keep it depends on connection availablity over there. How much will I post after? Kinda depends on if I feel like keeping it updated. It's gonna be kinda bland looking at first because of time constraints but hey ya never know what will happen.

So I hope you will enjoy whatever garbage I put up here. Keep tuned.
